WORKSHOPS
TO GET YOU IMAGINING
We firmly believe everyone has the fundamental right to co-create the future. Creating change and taking action is not reserved for the few, but in fact entrepreneurship and social action is a learned skill - a skill that can be developed. We offer carefully curated workshops to guide our participants to explore, play, and create. Check out our many workshops.
Ideation for Social Impact
Hypothesis Based Prototyping
Social Identity and Social Good
Social change starts when we can ideate as a community - when we can co-create and imagine the future we want to live in.
As much as we love playing with ideas, we desire action - we guide you through hypothesis-based prototyping so you can move forward in product development.
To create great products, we need to consider the limitations of our own perspective. We explore how considering bias can help us develop equitable products for our customers.

ABOUT US AND TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Sara Khalek
Co-Founder of IMAGINEi5 + MedTech Engineer
Adriana Penuela-Useche
Co-founder of IMAGINEi5 + Agriculture-Focused Chemical Engineer
Our mission is to empower individuals to take action in the social impact sector and co-create the future, together.
The Team
Sara and Adriana have been friends and MBA classmates at UC Berkeley Haas prior to creating IMAGINEi5. They share a vision to create social change in a variety of disciplines ranging from mental health to global economic development using design thinking, foresight, engineering, and business tools.

Sara is an engineer and consultant in the medical device industry, where she has worked to bring medical devices from mechanical development quality through manufacturing quality, supplier management, and product launch. She believes fundamentally in enhancing individual and community well-being - this is the 'why' behind her work. 'How' she accomplishes her work is through the use of 'play' - a creative self-directed activity that gives freedom to explore intellectual, emotional, social, and moral development. Check out her past work at The-Play-Project.

Adriana is an engineer and social innovator driven to solve systemic issues for global communities through economic empowerment and sustainable practices. Fundamentally, she believes in the power of creating strong human bonds through empathy and a smile. Adriana leads change with Engineers without Borders, and acts as the UC Berkeley Haas MBA Vice President of Social Impact. Her work in the chemical and agricultural sectors has taken her through roles in consulting, operations, and design thinking based improvements.
